#6924, A Pre-War Belgium 12 Bore SxS Boxlock Extractor Game Gun Marked "Francotte's Arms Co. Liege" Made in Belgium in 1934, This is not an Auguste Francotte made gun, It has 28 3/8" Steel Extractor Dovetail Lump barrels with a rib extension with a cross bolt at .721 .026 & .039" (Mod. & Full), Original 2 3/4" chambers, Correct bore size and Belgium proved at 18.2MM, Side clip action body, Double triggers, Sling eyes, Splinter forend with an Anson release, Open pistol grip stock at 14 3/4 x 1 9/16 x 2 3/8" over a hard buttplate, Neutral stock for right or left hand, 6 lbs. 9 oz., This piece has no engraving. The barrels retain 80% original blue, 40% original case colors on the frame, The wood is very solid and remains at 85% with typical handling marks, The checkering is at 80%. The bores are very good with surface blemishes but not pits. It is smack on the face and overall represents a very solid light hunting piece.
