The barrels at .731 .007 & .019" (Imp.Cyl. & Mod.), 2 3/4" chambers, The wall thickness on the right at .028" and .026" on the left barrel, Proper 98 New Bond Street address, Double triggers, Splinter forend, Straight hand stock at 14 15/16 x 1 9/16 x 2 3/16" over a removable 1" leather pad, Cast-off and a Swept comb for the right hand, 6 lbs. 9 oz., Nice piece of European Walnut with good color and contrast, 70% coverage of classic rose and scroll engraving, This gun retains 95-96% barrel blue, It retains 30% original case colors on a frame that has not been brushed, The butt and forend wood remains at 95%, The checkering still at 95%, The barrels inside and out are in excellent plus condition and totally free of any pits, dings or dents, The barrels ring with a nice chime, Chilton (Edwin & Son) locks that remain in excellent plus condition, Excellent internal inletting and totally free of any oil soak, Cased in the original factory leather trunk with all the proper trade labels including the serial number. This is a very nice Badminton Sidelock Game Gun with excellent barrels, game gun weight at 6 lbs. 9 oz., made in the Golden Era, great dimensions and points like a dream. This piece has been well kept as it still retains 90% original case colors on the breech face and has not had the you know what shot out of it. This is flat out a very nice Badminton Sidelock Game Gun at a very reasonable price in today's market. With the swept comb this gun comes to the right hand with ease and proper fit.
