#335871, Al Biesen Gunmaker Spokane, Wn: A Total Custom by Al Biesen in 270 Winchester on a Winchester Pre-64 Model 70 Action, The action was made in 1955, 22 1/2" barrel without any open sights, The barrel profile is that of a Pre-64 Featherweight by Winchester, Sling eye on the barrel, 2 piece Redfield/Leupold profiled scope bases, 1" scope rings, Blackburn straddle hinged floorplate with a center bow release, A 3-position Model 70 wing safety, Two panel teardrop bolt knob checkering, Model 70 trigger, Jeweled bolt and follower, Action rails inside and out are polished, Built-up & checkered bolt stop release, A pure Biesen Custom Classic style stock, Biesen point pattern checkering, Ebony forend tip, 2 screw rear sling eye, Shadowline cheekpiece, Biesen checkered steel 2-screw grip cap, 13 7/8" LOP over a 7/8" pad, 8 lbs. with the scope rings, An excellent piece of wood with excellent black/brown contrast, The original Biesen blue remains at 99.5%, The original stock finish at 99.5%, The checkering is at 100%, The bore is as new, This piece is totally like the day it left the Biesen shop.
