#245, Continental Arms Corp., New York: A 28 Bore Belgium O/U Centaure Imperial Crown Grade Made in 1959 for Continental Arms, 28" ejector vent rib barrels, .547 .022 & .022" (Full & Full), Original 2 3/4" chambers, Single selective trigger, 3 piece game forend, Scalloped frame, Cross bolt top lock, Double underlugs with double bite, Small and open pistol grip stock at 14 1/2 x 1 5/8 x 2 5/8" over a 1" pad, Slight cast-off for the right hand, 6 lbs. 13 oz., 70% engraving coverage with game scenes & scroll, The original barrel blue at 98%, The original receiver gray at 97%, The original stock finish at 85%, The checkering at 99%. The bores are bright and shiny and look as good as they did 57 years ago. A very solid gun that is in excellent mechanical shape and remains tight to the face and it remains ready for the next 57 years. This is a very lively gun in the hand with excellent balance. The barrels are marked "FALLA" which is Jean Falla and his firm made a lot of barrels for many very high grade Belgium guns.
